Kids Atlanta is home to World Class instructors. Our instructors have placed at prestigious International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) tournaments such as the Pan-Games Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championship, and the World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championship. Sought after for their vast knowledge of techniques and cutting edge training secrets. Our program is truly a unique environment that most Martial Arts schools simple can not live up. Our Academy offers more than just technical side of the Martial Arts, here we also focus on developing the students mental toughness, as well as dealing with the psychology of having Good Male Role Models.  There goal is to make all of their students in to Black Belts! and to bring a new martial arts experience to the Sandy Springs, Buckhead, and Marietta areas.

Mr. Daren

When he is not training, he is a full-time student at Georgia Perimeter College working on a degree in business management, and looking forward to transferring to Georgia Tech. Recently awarded honors at Georgia Perimeter College he is truly enjoying his academic experience. He attributes a lot of his success in college due to the analytical skills he developed over his years of training and his great coaches Jacare, Cobrinha, Chace Wheaton and Chris Moriarty.

Recently, Daren will attend to Georgia Tech for the Spring of 2012 where he will continue his studies in addition to growing his small businesses (Kids Atlanta, Itsumo Ahi Tuna Jerky).

Mr.  Alec

Alec Baulding is the assistant instructor here at  Kids Atlanta. He is an avid competitor who has had a lot of success in some of the most prestigious tournaments in the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. While Alec is known for his prowess, he is also an instructor that really wishes to pass along all of his knowledge to every student. While some might call him shy or awkward, Alec has a true love for everything Jiu Jitsu. If you have ever attended any of the kids classes you will always see him offering little details to make your son or daughter better, but he always manages to put in an encouraging or thoughtful word to let your child know that it is alright to stumble some times.

Out side of training, Alec is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in Mathematics at Morehouse College, known for such alumni as the civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. , the movie director Spike Lee, and the actor Samuel Jackson. How he has managed to juggle going to school full-time, training full-time, and finding time to sleep is a secret that he keeps guarded away.
